Chrysler Announces Ram 1500 and Jeep Diesel Option

Chrysler recently announced the introduction of its ecoboost diesel option for the Ram 1500 and Jeep Grand Chrokee lines. Beginning in the third quarter of 2013, these vehicles will now have the option of a 3.0L V6 diesel produced by VM Motori an Italian diesel engine supplier to chrysler since 1992. This engine will be coupled to the same 8 speed automatic seen with the gas setup.
